Innov\u2019ATM is the TindAIR project coordinator. Innov’ATM will provide the Ground Control C2 system used in operational environment and the UTM platform delivering all the U-space services defined as U1 and U2. The system will be enriched with Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning algorithms that will allow an efficient deconfliction resolution through the identification of the deconflicting vector in 4D coordinates.<\/span> <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Aerospace Valley leads the work package \u201cCommunication, dissemination and collaboration\u201d. We are carrying out dissemination activities to raise awareness about the project to third parties. Airbus Protect (formerly APSYS)<\/h5>

A subsidiary of Airbus, Airbus Protect is a consulting and research company based in Toulouse\/France. It specializes in the reliability, cyber protection and support of transport systems as well as industrial infrastructures, in compliance with environmental requirements. It offers innovative consulting and software solutions with a high level scientific and technological integration. Designing even more reliable aircraft, securing autonomous vehicles, anticipating the nuclear installation obsolescence or protecting industrial assets against cyber-attacks are the challenges for which Airbus protect employees\u2019 expertise contributes daily. Involvement in TindAIR<\/h5>

Airbus Protect will cover the cybersecurity chapter. In the first step, Airbus Protect will develop a Security assessment plan, describing all activities required in the project to demonstrate sufficient level of protection of all operational scenarios addressed, as to cyber attacks, taking into account various attacker profiles, adversary models, and as well direct, as wireless attacks. Then, all along the project, it will produce Security Assessment Reporting:\u00a0 for every relevant single threat or combination of attacks analysed, HA (Hazard Analysis) will be achieved, and qualification of the consequences will be performed depending on all possible systems involved (UAVs,VTOLs, helicopters\u2026), and in terms of impact and likelihood criteria and risk acceptance as well. Mitigation actions possible to make security level compliant with this required by security standards applied in UAM and aeronautics domains will be identified and results will be generated in FENCE tool, assessing security KPIs of the different operational use cases\u2026<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

CIRA<\/span><\/h5>

CIRA is the Italian Aerospace Research Center, a limited not-for-profit consortium company, founded in July 1984, which develops and implements national aerospace research programs. The main shareholders of CIRA are the Italian Space Agency (ASI), which owns the most part of the shares, and the National Research Council (CNR). The Italian government has entrusted CIRA to manage the PRORA (Italian Aerospace Research Program). As a member of EREA (the association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics), CIRA works in close co-operation with European aerospace research centers. CIRA is also member of IFAR (the International Forum for Aviation Research, the world aviation research establishment network), GARTEUR (the Group for Aeronautical Research and Technology in Europe) and ACARE (the Advisory Committee for Aeronautic Research). Staffed by more than 350 people (more than 250 researchers), engaged in virtually all major national and international research programs such as the European Clean Sky (CS), Single European Sky (SESAR), etc., CIRA facilities are located in Capua, Italy. Involvement in TindAIR<\/h5>

CIRA has the leadership of the Work Package\u00a0 \u201cConOps, Use Cases and Requirements Definition\u201d and of Tasks \u201cU-Space ConOps refinement with respect to UAM operations\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cU-Space requirements refinement with respect to UAM operations\u201d, and\u00a0 \u201cU-Space requirements and CONOPS validation\u201d. It is also involved in dissemination activities in collaboration with other ongoing international projects. In addition, CIRA contributes in several project activities, including the contribution to the task \u201cDesign of System Concept and U-space services\u201d, providing its expertise to support the TindAIR project activities addressing tactical geofencing, strategic de-confliction and tactical conflicts resolution. ONERA\/DTIS participates in the TindAIR project through the ReSSAC UAV research laboratory. ONERA\u2019s main contribution is to provide drone platforms (unmanned helicopters) with autonomous flight capability for the demonstrations. In the framework of TindAIR, PildoLabs main contribution will be leading the design, development and integration of the experimental communication system (on-board and on-ground), which will provide a secure datalink for deploying Tactical Conflict Resolution (TCR) service. Additionally, PildoLabs will lead the definition of the TCR exchange data model, and message contents, besides deploying its ground monitoring station in support to real-time navigation performances monitoring and signal interference detection. SkyBirdsView is proposing complex UAS services where operational rules should be established with the same rigor as in the manned aviation world. With a strong focus on ISR\/surveillance missions, our job is to set up and conduct UAS operations in France and overseas. We also perform consulting and support to UAS experimentations such as in the Tindair project.

SkyBirdsView leads the work package focusing on the execution of the UAM demonstrations.
From the multiple UAS specificities and the scenarios definitions, we are developing the specific operational procedures. \u00a0These will be followed by all the operators during the flight demonstrations to ensure safety of the manned and unmanned aircrafts. The role of TECNALIA in TindAIR is :<\/p>

To develop an eVTOL prototype with aircraft control algorithms adapted to guarantee appropriate trajectory tracking for airspace deconfliction demonstrations.<\/p>

Flights in a segregated area with the use of UMILES New Concept by Tecnalia, the first air taxi with 100% Spanish technology, development and manufacturing air taxi prototype, in two demonstrations of TindAIR project, simulating one person transportation with an eVTOL.<\/p>

Tecnalia is working closely with UMILES<\/a>, which is part of Grupo Ib\u00e9rica since 2020, and is a provider of remote-controlled aircraft services, mainly drones and AAM (advanced aerial mobility) aircraft, as well as manufacturing, marketing, maintenance, training, technical consulting and commercial services.<\/p>

Both entities are involved in the development of the air taxi prototype.<\/p>
